Memorial Day Weekend

We made reservations for Memorial Day all the way back in February, so we weren't going to let a little rain get in our way. By the looks of the campground everyone had the same idea. The campground was full the entire weekend.

We played lots of cards, watched a few movies, ate snacks, went on walks and just hung out. Zach went grocery shopping with me before the trip and wanted a plastic bat and ball. This was the best purchase! He and Noel kept themselves busy with their own version of baseball and had lots of fun.

2008 camping season begins

Our first camping trip of the year was a weekend at Willard Bay State Park. We just went for the weekend. The lake is low due to repair work being done on the dam. Not many boats in the water or people visiting the beaches. We took the canoe down to the lake and had a little inlet all to ourselves. The kids could paddle anywhere as long as we could see them.

I haven't posted in a while. We've been busy moving the girls into Noel's room so Mike can have an office. This process has taken almost a week (last Saturday shopped for new dressers) and then the moving process began. Needless to say all of the necessities have been moved but the room is not decorated yet. But they have beds and dressers and a T.V. This week has had the same routine as usual. Work for Mike and I, school for the kids. Three more weeks of school, and summer vacation begins. Which also means camping season begins. I hope it warms up a little before Memorial Day weekend. Tomorrow we are going to the local R.V. show. Should be fun but can be dangerous, too. I am just going to look...thats what I tell myself.

Look what Noel brought home.

Mike took the kids to IFA today to see the Ducks. Look what Noel bought with her babysitting money. Its name is Butterscotch.

Good Hair Day

I have been trying to get some pictures of Noel for the blog. She never wants her picture taken. She always puts her hand up in front of the camera and says "no". Yesterday while taking pictures of Laurens posters, she asked me to take her picture. She said she was having a good hair day and thats why she wanted her photo taken.

Making Posters

Next year Lauren will be going to Clearfield High. She is running for sophomore class office. Next week she puts up her posters and the votes will be tallied. Friday her friend Jamie came over to brainstorm and make posters. GOOD LUCK LAUREN!
